Her passion for athlete development began during her childhood; growing up alongside her older brother who played elite-level hockey, following in their grandfather’s footsteps. As they grew up, Jenna witnessed the highs and lows of youth sports, including injuries and rejections, as well as the determination and perseverance that helped her brother reach the professional level.
In high school, Jenna played field lacrosse and swam, and though she didn’t pursue sports at a high level herself, she knew she wanted a career in the sports field. After high school, she attended McMaster University to study kinesiology, where she served as a trainer for several elite hockey teams and the McMaster men’s football team. Through her time with elite teams, Jenna discovered her own appreciation for the role of training and nutrition in athletic performance.
After graduating from McMaster, Jenna continued her education at the University of Guelph, earning a degree in Applied Human Nutrition. She has since become a registered kinesiologist in British Columbia (BCAK), her knowledge behind nutrition, and being a certified strength and conditioning coach allows athletes reach their full potential and progress in the gym.
A fun fact about Jenna: her last name is in the rafters of Madison Square Garden, and her grandfather won a Stanley Cup with the Toronto Maple Leafs, making her a lifelong Leafs fan.
